2. Products & Services
Schild supplies and installs:
- Smash & Grab safety film
- Windscreen chip protection film
- Security laminate for buildings
- Blast & bullet resistant laminate systems
- UV and heat reduction window films
All installations are performed by trained installation partners.
3. Quotations
- All quotations are valid for 7 days
- Pricing may vary depending on vehicle, glass type, condition, and location
- Final pricing may change after inspection
4. Installation
- Customers must ensure vehicles/buildings are clean and accessible
- Existing tint or damaged glass may affect installation
- Schild is not responsible for pre-existing glass damage
5. Warranty
Schild provides a 2 year warranty against peeling and fading on applicable films, subject to correct installation and care.
This warranty does not cover:
- Glass breakage
- Deliberate damage
- Incorrect cleaning chemicals
- Pre-existing defects
- Normal wear and tear
6. Important Product Disclaimer (Bullet Resistant Products)
Schild supplies bullet resistant and blast resistant laminates designed to significantly reduce penetration and glass shatter.
⚠️ These products do NOT make a vehicle or building bulletproof.
No film, laminate, or glass system can guarantee complete protection against firearms, explosives, or violent attack. Performance depends on many factors including:
- Firearm type
- Ammunition type
- Distance
- Angle of impact
- Glass thickness and structure
Schild cannot and does not guarantee that any product will stop bullets or prevent injury or death.
7. Liability Limitation
Schild is not liable for:
- Injury, death, or loss due to criminal activity
- Glass breakage after installation
- Incorrect use or expectations of the product
- Indirect or consequential damages
8. Use of Website
All content, images, and designs are property of Schild and may not be copied.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
